TERMS & CONDITIONS
Online payments are made through a secure payment system. We do not retain card details, or any other payment information.
Because personalised items cannot be resold, they are therefore non-refundable. Full payment must be made in advance at the time of ordering. We will email you to acknowledge your order and give you an expected time frame for completing it, usually 2-3 weeks. Please check that all spellings, arrangements and any other information is correct before placing your order as we cannot guarantee being able to make amendments afterwards.
Postage and Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, all of our prices include packing and first class postage costs within the UK so you don’t get unexpected extra charges as you go through the checkout. If your order is urgent please contact us when you order and we will contact you to arrange next day delivery where possible. Please note, however, that this will incur extra charges and cannot apply to personalised items.
We aim to dispatch your order within 1-3 days, however, personalised products will take longer and could take up to 3 weeks, especially at busy times such as Christmas. We will keep in touch with via email with the estimated progress of your order.
All items are thoroughly checked before being dispatched. We cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage or delays caused in transit.
If you live in Northamptonshire or around Market Harborough in Leicestershire, we may deliver your order to you, at no extra charge, if we have a number of orders ready to go out to the same area or you have specified that it is urgent. In this case we will telephone or email you to arrange this.
If you wish to return an item that is not faulty please notify us immediately and do so within 7 days. You will be required to pay the postage and packing. We recommend using a registered post service as we cannot be responsible for items that do not reach us. Upon receipt of the returned item we will happily refund your payment or offer and exchange. This does not apply to personalised orders.
If your order has arrived damaged, please contact us immediately and send us photographs of the damage. If you live in Northamptonshire or Market Harborough we may be able to arrange collection during one of our delivery runs. We will endeavour to resolve the situation as quickly as possible for you.
In the course of our business we inevitably collect personal information from you such as your contact details. We are committed to ensuring that all information we use is safeguarded and kept in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and is used purely for our own legitimate business purposes.
We will NEVER share your email address or any other personal information with any other third party. As part of our research services or creating family trees we will unavoidably collect information such as names, dates and places of birth about other family members, living or deceased. We will never share this information with any third parties. In the event that you begin to share such data with us and then change your mind about going ahead with research all information that you had thus far provided will be deleted from our systems.
Unless you have opted out, we will use your email address to send you marketing and promotional emails from time to time to keep you informed of our latest offers and new products. You can opt out of this service at any time. If you choose to opt out of this service we will delete your email address from our records once any pending orders have been processed.
We may, however, disclose any personal information we hold if we are required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings, and in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights, or if otherwise legally permitted.
Storage of data
Your information may be stored on a cloud-based system whose servers are located within the UK or European Union (EU). All data will be stored so to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and as enacted, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
